Mike Jurkovac, has taken his extensive work with brands and recording artists and tailored it to the unique needs of music and Madison Avenue. His credentials were already impressive working with such worldclass recording artists as Alicia Keys, John Legend, David Guetta, Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, K’naan, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth, Pitbull, Ty Dolla$ign and Justin Timberlake, and with brands such as Intel, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), Snickers, Coors, Western Union, Victoria’s Secret and others.
Collaborating closely with partner Igor Kovalik, an award-winning editor, Mike’s directorial reel is infused with rhythm and often integrates dazzling visual effects and design aimed at captivating an audience raised on high-tech images and social media. An example is his recent partnering with Yoko Ono, David Guetta and UNICEF on a blockbuster transmedia initiative to support children’s rights. Titled #IMAGINE, it featured Katy Perry, Shakira and Neymar, Jr. Mike's Mona Lisa music video for will.i.am was nominated for MTV Video of the Year in 2016.
Mike created and directed high-profile projects as the YES, WE CAN and WE ARE THE ONE viral videos, made in collaboration with will.i.am, that were widely credited with changing the course of the 2008 Presidential Election.
Up next, Mike is extending his reach into long-format entertainment and documentary work, with two features – an independent comedy and a doc about the Black Eyed Peas – set to be released this year.
